Chemours Logistic Operations Specialist in Beveren, Belgium
Chemours is seeking an Logistic Operations Specialist to join our Titanium Technologies EMEA team! The position will report directly to the Customer Service and Operations Manager TT EMEA at our Kallo, Belgium location.
/As an Logistic Operations Specialist you will hold responsibility for the overall day-to-day operations at the local bulk and warehouse facilities at our 3rd party provider in EMEA./
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Main contact for 3rd party contract manufacturer managed bulk and repacking operations:
Accountable for production plan execution, asset management in Chemours systems
Interact with 3rd party logistics provider on any issues related to the daily warehousing activity
Contact for Road/Intermodal transport tenders raised by the Chemours’ PLR team.
Monitor and validate costs for 3rd party managed warehousing, bulk and repacking operations
- /Complaint management/
Accountable to assign non-conformities related to bulk-to-pack operations or packaging to the appropriate investigation party and to align with customer service team and/or operations team to establish an effective preventive and corrective action plan.
Identify and support improvement opportunities related to operations, packaging and logistics
Digitalization of operational processes
Liaison between 3rd party logistics provider and Chemours’ overseas shipping points for packaging and/or logistics improvement projects
Collaborate with Chemours internal departments (planning, customer service, regulatory, procurement and logistics, marketing,…) on the operations day-to-day challenges and long term opportunities
Strong networking needed with Chemours global Headquarters and production sites (US, MX, TW)
The following is /required/ for this role:
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Autonomous worker with strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Min. 5 years of experience in a Supply Chain / Logistics position
Very good knowledge of Dutch and English
In possession of a driver’s license
The following is /preferred/ for this role:
Master degree in Engineering / Commercial Engineering preferred or similar
Knowledge of SAP and/or OMP is a plus
