CASE MANAGER

BERRYVILLE, A

Burrell of NW Arkansas is seeking a Qualified Behavioral Health Professional to work in collaboration with area schools. Burrell works collaboratively with area schools to provide a system of referral, treatment and follow up to mental health services for students who demonstrate risk of academic, behavioral and/or mental health difficulties as evidenced by poor school performance, discipline problems, law enforcement involvement, substance abuse, and/or family mobility or distress.

The Qualified Behavioral Health Provider works under the guidance of the QBHP Supervisor while building supportive client relationships and empowering clients and their families to actively participate in mental health treatment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides mental health services to students and families regarding psychological or emotional problems such as stress, substance abuse, or family situations focused on implementation of the therapeutic treatment plan and as directed by the Mental Health Professional.

  • Provides information to school staff regarding mental health issues of clients (as appropriate).

  • Participates with inter-disciplinary team and partners with MHP to develop and implement individual treatment plan.

  • Completes and submits all necessary documentation for the provision of billing, progress notes, YOQ, non-billable services, and other services provided in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Compiles records and prepares reports in accordance with Burrell policies and procedures.

  • Documents client progress to maintain a permanent record of client activity according to Burrell policies and procedures utilizing electronic medical records.

  • Secures and evaluates information such as medical, psychological, and social factors contributing to client’s situation and capabilities.

  • Assists with development and reviews of service plan and performs follow-up to determine quantity and quality of service provided client status of client’s case.

  • Ensures that service delivery is performed according to Youth Bridge’s mission, policies and procedures and service philosophy.

  • Infuses the understanding of the existence of cultural differences and similarities and the associated impact on values, learning and behavior.

  • Maintains direct service (productivity) requirement.

  • May be required to drive vans for transporting of clients to/from designated locations.

Qualifications:

  • bachelor's degree in a behavioral science discipline from a four-year college/university is required

  • one to two years related experience and/or training is preferred.
