<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Wayfair has one of Europe’s largest online selection of furniture, home furnishings, décor and goods including more than 1.8 million products from over 3,500 suppliers across all countries in Europe and is consistently increasing. With such an extensive network and its dynamic growth, our logistics team is ensuring a smooth, fast and reliable delivery service across multiple countries for a large variety of products. Currently, our logistics team is embarking on a strategic initiative to further grow, optimize and reinvent the network through more intelligent network routing, leverage of own infrastructure and staff, carrier selection and freight consolidation.</span></p>

<p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p>

<ul>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Develop and build the process on how we manage the relationship with our carriers that we use to operate throughout Europe, managing speed, quality and total cost of ownership</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Negotiate contracts and rates with with freight carriers and 3PL providers</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Implement and ramp-up new logistics service providers across Europe</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Drive internationalization by developing supply chain solutions in new geographies</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Lead multiple strategic projects to increase network performance including, but not limited to, roll-out of new delivery services for our customers</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Manage multiple carrier relationships on an ongoing basis with emphasis on performance visibility and regular business cadence&nbsp;</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">You will manage, develop and further grow your team</span></li>

<p><strong>What You'll Need</strong></p>

<ul>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">A Bachelor and/or Masters Degree and 5+ years of experience preferably (but not necessarily limited to) in online retail, supply chain</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Significant experience in operational leadership and supply chain/transportation expertise, either in industry (incl. freight carriers) or top tier consulting company</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Track record of leading and delivering large and complex projects from inception to completion</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience in developing relationships with stakeholders, working collaboratively and leveraging influence to drive multi-departmental projects</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience in negotiating transportation contracts with freight carriers and 3PL providers</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work well in a fast paced company</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">An inclination to use data to answer questions, frame conversations, and drive impact/ behavior change</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Willingness to travel to visit carriers in our European sourcing and delivery markets</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Fluency in English</span></li>
