American Leak Detection, Inc Customer Service Representative in Berkeley, California

Full-Time Customer Service Representative American Leak Detection was founded over 40 years ago, and is the world leader in the accurate, non-destructive detection of hidden water, sewer, gas and swimming pool leaks. American Leak Detection sets the standard for non-invasive leak detection and repair with proprietary methods and technology. Helping preserve our most precious resource, water. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work to join us in our small and casual office. This is a service position, meaning you are always serving an internal or external customer. The person answering the phone is the first person who customers interact with and sets the tone for future interactions by making a good impression. Located near the Downtown Berkeley BART and only 1 mile from UC Berkeley, our office is accessible by car or mass transit. Hours: 40 hours a week Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm Responsibilities: * Answer calls, take notes, and record information accurately such as customer's name, address, service needs, etc. * Prepare work orders, schedule service calls, and dispatch technicians to the appropriate jobs - keep records of service calls and work orders * Excellent communication, strong writing, analytical, and creative skills. * Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of information relayed is essential. * Language Skills: Applicant must have the ability to interpret field reports and produce customer ready reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals with good grammar, punctuation and spelling; and the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, other employees, clients, customers, and the general public. * Strong Customer Service skills: Your voice tone should be friendly, confident, and reassuring. Honesty in communication is required. * Demonstrate interpersonal skills and proficiency in business vocabulary to effectively represent the company. * Experience working with maps, and knowledge of geographical area. * Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and other software programs; QuickBooks knowledge is a plus but not mandatory. * Manage multiple tasks and handle high stress situations. * Medical benefits, paid holidays, vacation/sick paid time off and retirement plan. * Wage based on experience * Selected candidate will be subjected to Background Investigation prior to employment If interested in joining please contact nitza@aldbayarea.com
