Job Description*** This role can be based in Atlanta, GA, Overland Park, KS, Frisco, TX, or Bellevue, WA.***OverviewThe Principal Product Manager is a visionary, strategist, analyst, customer evangelist, respected leader of execution, and professional relationship builder all rolled into a single dynamic package. The Principal Product Manager is ultimately accountable, responsible, and has ownership of T-Mobile's internal and external products, platforms, services, experiences envisioned and created to achieve the specific business purpose or business results. At a high level, this means identifying the intersection of customer problems/unmet needs (an opportunity), technical feasibility, business objectives, securing funding, and leading a cross-functional team as well as key stakeholders to deliver against the opportunity.ResponsibilitiesThe Principal Product Manager - Leadership Development will develop great people leaders within our Product & Technology organization by identifying development needs across the leadership community and crafting programs to expand the capabilities of our leadership cadre. This role will focus on developing the leadership skills and behaviors in P&T Managers and Sr. Managers necessary for P&T teams to better meet the objectives of the enterprise. Example skills to be developed would include assessing and growing talent, matching organizational needs and designs, identifying the need for and fostering continuous improvement, designing and improving the flow of work through a process and organization.Role-specific responsibilities include:Partnering with P&T organization leadership and internal/external stakeholders to identify development needs of Managers and Sr. Managers within P&T and propose programs to satisfy those needs. Responsible for developing, and executing People Leader programs, using existing resources or new resources that they cause to be created, enabling our P&T frontline People Leaders to grow their leadership capacity and drive beneficial change in the organization.Responsible for creating an in-house People Leader Bootcamp for our Manager & Sr Manager population Defining and driving People OKRs in partnership with Executive Sponsor QualificationsMinimum 7+ Years of relevant Product Management experience in agile software product development environments.Demonstrates complete mastery of business side skills (communication, customer research, product vision, feature definition), as well as technical architecture, Dev, and execution skillsProven ability to effectively and efficiently communicate with Leadership, technical and non-technical audiences while employing a high degree of collaboration and influence.Proven analytical skills with demonstrated ability to identify/analyze/synthesize product use data and use the data to drive decisions.Mastery level (industry leading) understanding of customer experience.Proven success in directing matrixed resources and delivering software, with Agile Scrum methodologies and other commonly used tools, across multiple teams.Proven success in directing matrixed resources and delivering software, with Agile Scrum methodologies and other commonly used tools, across multiple teams.Mastery of requirements elicitation, and writing skills including the ability to write concisely and clearly for different audiences.Experience with Agile backlog/project management tools.Experience with successive elaboration and ability to develop Initiatives, Features and User Stories that the DevOps teams can ingest.Experience in delivering large and complex business/technology initiatives.Bachelor's degree required.
