Dell Customer Engagement Program Manager (Remote) in Bellevue, Washington

If so, the Modern Applications business unit at VMware might be a great fit for you. In the MAP-BU, we are creating products for the future of cloud and applications with Kubernetes. Successfully addressing the challenge of new technology adoption requires consistent and throughout customer feedback. The Design Partner Program aims to introduce a select set of customers to new releases and features. Through this process, the customers provide feedback to a variety of stakeholders. In return, they become early adopters of VMware technology and serve as market leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and manage customers in the Design Partner Program

  • Provide a high-quality customer experience throughout the design partner processes

  • Coordinate with product managers and engineering managers to schedule the execution of test cases, document success criteria and customer profiles

  • Shepherd the creation of test scenarios and scripts for customers to use

  • Execute a communication cadence about features and roadmaps

  • Ensure consistent communication internally on customer status

  • Setup processes and tools for data analysis around testing and feature requests

  • Publish data around the Design Partner Program, especially customer insights

  • Design sessions for customer use case validation across a variety of areas (scalability testing, UX, roadmaps, integrations, competitive analysis etc.)

  • Use customer experiences and conversations to provide direction and feedback to internal VMware product, sales and marketing teams

  • Participate with internal teams to develop content focused on customer challenges and how those are addressed through VMware solutions

  • Categorize use cases to enable teams to easily understand customer environment and define repeatable solutions

  • Take a leadership role and accountability in working with cross-functional teams both within and across BUs

Desired Experience

  • Ability to work with ambiguity and bring clarity to achieve the right outcome

  • Foster collaboration and teamwork with remote, cross-functional teams

  • Experience in managing and understanding product lifecycles

  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage competing priorities

  • Strong customer mind-set and ability to uncover technical challenges

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Strong relationship building skills and business acumen

  • Estimated travel of between 10% - 25% locally and internationally, depending on needs of customers and VMware teams

  • Recent customer and partner functional activities

  • Familiarity with AGILE and or LEAN/SAFE is a bonus
