The BI Report Developer will support the Innovation department by analyzing data and creating reports for our clients using a variety of business intelligence tools, including, but not limited to, Tableau and SQL. This position is responsible for building, maintaining and ensuring quality of existing and new reports.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create Tableau Dashboards with interactive views, trends and drill downs along with user level security

  • Develop processes and tools that help automate effective data delivery and reduce resource utilization and redundancy

  • Participate in QA efforts as they pertain to reporting, data, dashboard creation and execution

  • Perform root cause analysis and communicate quantitative and qualitative findings

  • Adjust workload as necessary to prioritize more urgent requests

  • Communicate and present findings to internal and external stakeholders using effective data visualizations

  • Monitor performance of reports and dashboards and take corrective action to optimize and improve dashboard performance as necessary

  • Responsible for maintaining appropriate security access ensuring all PHI is restricted to only those authorized

  • Access and transform SQL datasets through filtering, grouping, aggregation, and statistical calculation

    Education (Degrees, Certificates, Licenses, Etc.)

  • Bachelor?s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required

  • Tableau desktop certification a plus


  • 2+ years? experience in data analysis using Tableau (versions 2018 or higher)

  • Experience in a healthcare setting valuable, but not required

  • Experience building relational databases, manipulating and analyzing large quantities of data

  • Experience developing within SQL Server suite

  • R or Python experience desired
