IQVIA Fieldwork Support Specialist in Bangkok, Thailand

Job Summary

  • Resourceful in the local market and the healthcare business to work well with different vendors and freelancers related to Market Research Fieldwork

  • Excellent in working closely and negotiating price with vendors/freelancers to ensure data quality meets expectation, on-time delivery, and compliant to IQVIA process (include AE reporting)

  • Skillful in planning data collection activities and fieldwork support for market research

  • Strong in effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate end-to-end project execution

  • Passionate in improving processes and taking regional initiatives at the local level

As the Fieldwork Support Specialist, the main aim of the role is to monitor project implementation especially in fieldwork and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Work under the general supervision of Fieldwork Effectiveness manager to manage and execute research projects

  • Work closely with Primary Intelligence team to assist in recruiting/selecting the qualified vendors/freelancers

  • Ability to foresee issues that would affect the project delivery and raise concerns and propose solutions to Fieldwork Effectiveness manager when needed

  • Supervise vendors/freelancers in monitoring progress of fieldwork and ensure quota control is met for project

  • Quality control on vendors’/freelancers’ achievements

  • Assist in training and onboarding selected vendors/freelancers following our internal protocol

  • Handling multiple projects while updating & maintaining ongoing project files and documentation

  • Facilitate discussion between Primary Intelligence team and vendors/freelancers on difficulties’ resolutions

  • Evaluate vendors’/freelancers’ performance and take any corrective/preventive action

  • Assist in validating vendors’/freelancers’ documents to ensure payment of services

  • Handle other administrative tasks as required

Requirements

  • Requires advanced knowledge gained through extensive work experience and/or education

  • At least 2 years of vendor management/project management or general operational experience; preferably in Primary Market Research or in the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry

  • Bachelor's Degree Equivalent, preferably medical/biomedical or life sciences discipline

  • General knowledge of the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry.

  • Good planning and organizing skill, and attention to details

  • Good interpersonal skills and analytical capabilities, in order to build and maintain healthy relationship with stakeholders and vendors and to interpret their requirements

  • Good communication skills – fluent in Thai and conversant in English both written and verbal; able to convey message clearly to stakeholders and vendors

  • Disciplined, self-motivated, team spirited; able to operate effectively as part of a team and work willingly and effectively in and across the organization to accomplish project goals

  • Effective time management and multi-tasking skills: Ability to work towards deadlines and under pressure, as well as constant prioritization of work

  • Proficient and fast-learned in using applications in Windows

  • Ability to carry out moderate analysis and information and resolve problems on routine matters
