Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supports MD production systems and technologies by maintaining day to day operations and leading maintenance upgrades

  • Triages reported production systems issues and leads problem resolution partnering with IT and end users

  • Supports large, medium, and small MD projects at Baxter. Projects can be new MD capabilities, fixes, upgrades, or MD project components in large non-MD programs

  • The analyst is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for MD processes and integration to upstream and downstream functional processes

  • Creates and maintains user requirements specifications (URS), functional specifications

  • Defines the test and validation approach, write test scripts and executes all testing efforts

  • Monitors and validate the technical work delivered by Baxter IT or external technical providers

  • Organizes the deployment and transition of MD projects to MD operations and IT support teams

  • Facilitation of meetings, workshops and communications related to above tasks


  • Very strong learning agility capability. Inquisitive and extremely good at troubleshooting MD business and technical issues

  • Resourceful and able to define creative solutions

  • Capability to inquiry database using tools like MS SQL

  • Strong Riversand or comparable MDM tool and JDE knowledge. Baxter or Industry MDM knowledge a plus

  • Proactive and decisive, able to work with minimum supervision

  • Excellent communication skills. Ability to consistently explain complex technical issues in clear business language to stakeholders. English fluency

  • Driver of continuous improvement, innovative and strategic. High level knowledge of business processes that utilize in scope Master Data

  • Experience managing functional and technical stakeholders. Ability to set and clearly communicate expectations to stakeholders. Always delivers as promised, when promised

  • Strong organizational skills, process-oriented and great attention to detail

  • Able to perform thorough data analysis when required

  • Technically savvy on Master Data Architecture/Hierarchies/Taxonomies, Data Workflows, and/or Data Integration

  • Ability to influence, work with others, facilitate workshops, and present to management

  • 5-7 years in similar data/IT delivery analyst roles at Master Data

  • 5+ years of experience working with global or regional stakeholders in matrix environment

  • ERP, Industry, regulatory, and validation systems experience required
