As a key leader within the Colleague Experience and Technology organization you will lead the Colleague Success team responsible for supporting all employees through upcoming technology and process changes aligned to the CDTO (Digital Transformation Office) and CIO (Information Office). You and your team will ensure the success of our employees journey through the CDTO and CIO change agenda.
The colleague experience and technology team are a critical part of VMware’s digital transformation – functionally comprising of colleague support, colleague experience and a technology team focused on collaboration, productivity and emerging technologies.
What is primary need, technical challenge, and/or problem you will be responsible for?
We are looking for an experienced change and people leader that will drive and evolve our strategy to help our colleagues through change. You will lead the regional team in India
Success in the Role: What are the performance goals over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?
Develop a vision and strategy to help our colleagues navigate through change.
You will develop a culture of open to continuous change and evolution.
You will continue to develop a colleague centric approach in everything the team does from training, change management, communication.
What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
Oversee, develop, and execute our Colleague Success plans such as change management strategies that maximize employee adoption and usage for strategic initiatives
• Manage a regional (India ) team of colleague success FTEs and contractors to deliver against priorities
• Provide direct support and coaching to all levels of managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions
• Coach and support Senior Leaders and Executives on their role as a change sponsor
• Craft and implement frameworks (process, tools and techniques) to “engineer” the people-side of change processes
• Lead the development of a communications framework, strategy, and operating rhythm for communicating with all internal stakeholders including, but not limited to, executive staff, senior management, project teams, business unit partners and employees
• Perform and evaluate change readiness assessments
• Identity and evaluate potential change resistance and develop/execute mitigation tactics
• Define adoption success metrics for the change before the program starts and measure against post the program ends
• Develop partner engagement and management plans, including handling a feedback loop to identify gaps and introduce plans to address and mitigate issues
