In this role, you have the opportunity to

Co-create and execute training programs in collaboration and for R&D teams so that the training needs related to technical knowledge (such as tools, environments, and languages) are met.

You are responsible for

  • Contributing to the definition and implementation of programs such as the technical onboarding for R&D team members and editions of the Intern Program.

  • Planning and teaching classes covering technical subjects such as programing languages and development tools.

  • Preparing reports and presentations related to the programs and performance of the participants.

  • Supporting Learning and Development initiatives.

  • Proposing continuous improvement actions for the training initiatives based on the feedback and lessons learned during and after the editions of the programs.

You are a part of

The R&D Training team participates on local and international projects, supporting the technical enablement of new hired people who take part in various R&D roles as well as continuous improvement initiatives for current team members.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Degree in IT related field.

  • Experience with software development, including Java, JavaScript, GitHub and PL/SQL. Knowledge of Philips Development tools is a plus.

  • Experience with onboarding and training peers in technical topics.

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

  • Ability to engage learners via live or web-based classes and create practical exercises with real-life scenarios.
