Your Role and Responsibilities
Manage support queue in relation to monitoring platform incidents
Responsible for ensuring routine and proactive maintenance for all BMC (BPPM) components of the platform
To administer, maintain, configure and develop a varied range of BMC Performance Manager products including Performance Manager for Servers (Windows, Solaris, Red Hat Linux, IBM AIX)
Performance Manager for Databases (Oracle, Microsoft SQL), Performance Manager for Microsoft Exchange, Performance Manager for Internet Servers
Performance manager for Virtual Servers, Patrol Configuration Manager, Distribution Server and Client, Console & RT Server, Central Console for Microsoft Windows and Web Editions
To configure Knowledge Modules using PSL (Patrol Scripting Language) using PSL3 and PSL7
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Control-M job scheduling. Knowledge on UNIX SHELL scripting.
• Knowledge on Control-M related automation using API, REST API applications.
• knowledge on DR activity using Control-M tool and knowledge on Control-M Self Service, BIM and ForeCast.
• Perform error and recovery analysis. Preparing and maintaining the documentations and procedures for future reference.
• Hands on Experience on Control-M EM, Control-M server and Control-M agents on Unix and Windows platforms, Scheduliing, Calender changes.
• Good Coordination skill to manage and identify Control-M Job Owners issues and do the troubleshoot on the same.
• Knowledge on Workload Change Manager is very much necessary.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
Degree level qualification; MBA or professional equivalent desirable
Vendor Certified in BMC Performance Manager toolsets (desirable)
Foundation certified in ITIL (desirable)
