Job Description

Core Responsibilities

+ + Reporting to the Senior Manager of Public Relations, supports PR functions for Comcast’s Northeast Division and its five Regional teams

  • Monitors traditional and social media for important coverage and shares with appropriate teams

  • Prepares daily, annual, and ad hoc coverage reports to share PR results with internal stakeholders

  • Drafts releases and other press materials and provides support on proactive social and traditional media outreach and events

  • Coordinates with internal communications on external announcements to ensure consistent messaging

  • Supports social media and blog strategy for the Division, contributing dynamic written and video content for external sharing

  • Contributes to influencer engagement activities

  • Provides research and creates playbooks and lists for PR operations

  • Provides administrative support such as managing external vendors and contracts and updating and organizing file sharing systems

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
