Northrop Grumman Principal/Senior Principal Manufacturing Analyst- Non MRP in Baltimore, Maryland

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (MS) is seeking a Manufacturing Analyst for the Non-Material Requirements Planning (Non-MRP) department within the Manufacturing organization. This position will be located in Baltimore, MD.

The individual will be expected to:

  • Perform the Lead Role for the Non MRP Requisition Homeroom at the Baltimore facility

  • Provide oversight, training and support for department tools - EMO Database, Non MRP Mailbox and automated log for receipts

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for iBuy, SAP/One ERP, and Global Supply Chain (GSC) processes as they relate to the Non MRP process

  • Design, prepare and deliver training materials for Sector and Local Non MRP requisitioners, as well as engineering, GSC and manufacturing customers

  • Lead development of Non-MRP LX training curriculum

  • Chair Non MRP Community of Practice - plan objectives, conduct meetings, create agenda

  • Provide oversight of Sector M922 Command Media procedure- training, interpretations, changes to documents, perform Sector assessments

  • Create and act upon metrics for Non MRP process

  • Project Management - lead various department initiatives and continuous improvement projects

  • Promote and Lead Team Building activities

  • Lead projects that improve operational efficiency and effectiveness

  • Provide direct support to Non MRP Manager

MANUMS

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications for a Principal Analyst:

•Bachelor's degree with 6 years of relevant cross discipline experience within Operations, MRP, Production Control, Engineering or Supply Chain (4 years with a Master's)

•Understanding of MRP and Supply Chain / Procurement fundamentals

Understanding of Receiving/Shipping/Transportation fundamentals

•SAP experience with Material Planning and Supply Chain transactions

•Intermediate Power point, MS Excel, data analysis and problem solving skills

Basic Qualifications for a Senior Principal Analyst:

•Bachelor's degree with 10 years of relevant cross discipline experience within Operations, MRP, Production Control, Engineering or Supply Chain (8 years with a Master's)

•Understanding of MRP and Supply Chain / Procurement fundamentals

Understanding of Receiving/Shipping/Transportation fundamentals

•SAP experience with Material Planning and Supply Chain transactions

•Intermediate Power point, MS Excel, data analysis and problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

APICS CPIM Certification
