Test & QA Developer

Job Description:

Monitor every phase of the development process to ensure that the design and software adhere to Meshify standards. Create tests to identify issues with our software before the product launch. This includes identifying and analyzing any bugs and errors found during the test phase and documenting them for review after. In addition, develop and run new tests, reporting on the results and collaborating with software developers to fix program issues. Assist the team in meeting deadlines and staying within budget by breaking up the development process into attainable testing goals and relaying any issues back to the development and product teams or leaders.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science preferred or equivalent work experience

  • 2+ years of experience writing automates tests for front-end applications

  • 2+ years of experience testing software on a high performing development team

  • 2+ years of experience in implementing various stages of testing – Automation, Integration, Regression, etc.

  • 1+ years of experience working with Cypress for tests

  • 1+ years of experience working with JavaScript testing

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Good working knowledge of data testing and test automation concepts, practices and techniques

  • High proficiency in computer technology and programming languages

  • Excellent understanding of testing practices including various stages of testing - Automation, Integration, Regression etc.

  • Good knowledge of tools, methodologies and procedures in an agile framework

  • Excellent analytical and proven problem-solving skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills and ability to communicate to all levels within the organization

  • Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
