Job Title: Supervisor, EDU Operations
Location: Austin, TX
Role and Responsibilities
The candidate is responsible for collaborating with functional leads and SMEs, and for the completion /management of routine activities that will affect Revenue and Booking targets for the EDU Business. The candidate will also be responsible for strategic upstream communication with stakeholders, and tactical downstream communication with the team.
Negotiate, prioritize and adhere to SLAs for routine administrative and operational tasks
Identify metrics like Efficiency, Quality, Utilization etc., and measure/report on a periodic basis
Identify areas to streamline or automate processes, and execute with internal partners
Manage employee logistics required to run the business smoothly
Build a strong network/relationship with internal customer and partners, within and outside AMER
Create, execute and continuously review operational plans and hiring strategy
Handle people management aspects like goal setting, compensation, employee engagement, skill development, career progression, etc.
8-10 years of functional and people management experience in a professional services/EDU business
Functional experience in project management like creating engagements, resource allocation, tracking utilization, forecasting, billing and invoicing
Knowledge of typical business models, engagement models and workflows
Experience in working across Geo’s, cultures and teams with disparate expectations
Experience in managing team leads/supervisors who lead a variety of functions
Experience in setting up and operationalizing teams
Experience in creating processes, workflows and managing tools
Experience in working across global teams and being culturally sensitive
Expected to be self-motivated, proactive and have decision making capabilities
Very strong communication skills, written and verbal, coupled with attention to detail
