PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Quality Analyst, in Austin, TX


  • An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Compensation Services Department at client. We areexpanding our Compensation Services UAT (User Acceptance Testing) team to support ourproject deliverables through 2022. Join a dynamic team of professionals passionate about thequality of the integrated systems used by client employees, Business partners, and third partyVendors.Our project roadmap is focused on driving optimisation through process, data and technologysolutions. The successful candidate should have excellent analytical skills with the ability toanalyse business requirements and current business process. They should be able to present theserequirements in clear detailed working use case scenarios with a view to ensure the systemsbehave in line with expectations. In addition, the successful candidate should enjoy getting intothe detail while working closely with cross functional teams to ensure quality test executionthrough to a handoff for deployment to users.The job will be varied encompassing aspects of the project life cycle from requirement reviewthrough to systems release, focusing on the project deliverables and milestones dedicated toquality assurance - readiness, script writing, entry/exit criteria, sanity/smoke, ticket management,test execution etc. The candidate should be motivated and comfortable working in an extremelyfast-paced environment.

Bachelors degree

Key Experience

• 3-5 years of related professional experience in a large international organisation

• 2+ years of Workday testing experience (and a deployment) highly desirable

• Familiarity with integrated Payroll solutions (ADP, PWC) highly desirable

• Experience in working on complex technology projects as a Quality Analyst highly desirable

• Practical experience with timekeeping (WFM, Kronos) highly desirable

• Expertise in HR operations, employee support and data administration desirable

• Advanced MS Excel essential

• Good understanding of QA methodologies

• An excellent team player with excellent attention to detail

• Experience analysing processes to document steps required to execute a test (breaking down


• Ability to think from a customers perspective to create what if scenarios (i.e. evaluates

different scenarios to determine system behaviour under unexpected situations)

• Ability to generate a sense of urgency and rally appropriate teams to drive resolution on a

timely basis

• Comfortable working with engineering teams reproducing difficult issues

• Experience in dealing with cross functional teams in a multinational environment an advantage

• Ability to deliver timely and accurately in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

• Must be capable of dealing with high volume and regular changes in volume

• Must be able to work independently

• Needs to be comfortable with ambiguity and have excellent communication and interpersonal
