What you’ll achieve
As a NA Assortment Planner , you will define and execute a assortment and demand plan to support Inspiron DT/AIO and XPS DT product lines, utilizing market analysis to craft assortment and pricing strategy. You will drive the top and bottom line, optimizing all aspects of the portfolio P&L by delivering smart assortment, creating continual channel improvements and delivering the best customer experience.
Evaluate market trends based on the multiple data points available(NPD, IDC, Sales and Strategy teams) to identify market opportunities
Work with Product group and Product Line Managers for the development and adjustment of product portfolio strategy
Select & Create assortment offering and stacks to drive the profitable Y/Y growth and maximize the market share
Work together with all Consumer NA planners, Pricing managers, and Merchandisers to create a “Lead vs. Participate” channels strategy that minimize Omni channel conflicts and Optimize Dell’s market positioning
Work with Consumer NA pricing team to ensure, in time, optimal price positioning and reflect accurate cost structure
Based on historical data, market trends, customer feedback, and recent business performance, create and signal bottoms up demand forecast of URM by LOB, platform, and FGA
Lead account transition review meetings by platform, with volume, and phasing
Maintain up to data master transition file for weekly account reviews, GM reviews, and executive reviews

• 12 to 15 years of related experience as a technology merchandising / assortment specialist
• A deep understanding of customer needs, market, competition, the Desktop / AIO products and the external landscape
• An innovative and creative spirit, to enjoy the considerable diversity of the role
• Outstanding communication skills and the ability to maximize relationships, positively influencing all colleagues and partners
• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree, MBA preferred
