Manager, Software Solutions Specialist

Work you'll do

As the SAP/OpenText Software Solutions Specialist you will be the go-to-person for any issues or items around the OpenText VIM Solutions and will lead deployment discussions and activities from requirements gathering through to deployment and Post-Go Live Support plus on-going maintenance.

Primary Duties will Include:

  • Defining approaches, structuring deliverables, determining optimal configurations, focusing on integrations and building OpenText VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) and related tools in support of large, complex projects within and across channels and Member Firms.

  • Leading the rollout of the SWIFT OpenText Solution to New Member Firms joining SWIFT.

  • Leading the Deloitte's Global PTP/OpenText Support team to provide Hypercare support and resolve any issues arising from implementations.

  • Working with Business and GPO teams to finalize the design of enhancements that have been identified.

  • Working on the implementation of the enhancements.

  • Testing and documenting the enhancements and changes made.

  • Working on the OpenText Upgrade initiatives.

  • Provide training on the OpenText VIM Solutions to new team members.

  • Collaborating with other teams on production incidents resolution.

  • Performing adhoc and project-based support as needed.

  • Providing leadership with regular status updates and potential issues.

  • Manage daily progress and status of deliverables on projects.

  • Responsible for defining and directing tasks of functional and technical Specialists.

  • Ensure that all project resources are focused on the effort they are aligned to.

  • Promote effective teamwork and spirit of partnership.

Qualifications

Advanced MS Office skills; advanced proficiency in software development lifecycle methodologies (i.e. Waterfall, Agile, Kanban) and architecture and technical design of enterprise solutions, extensive functional/technical implementation experience with SAP/S4 and OpenText products/functionality; advanced configuration and design skills; working knowledge and significant experience in defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines; adept at implementing of software change management processes and governance; technology-enabled business solutions and customer interactions; experience in leading large teams in virtual environments on large, complex projects; superior problem solving skills; strong written, leadership discussion and public speaking skills;

Subject matter areas include, but are not limited to: OpenText Content Management/Document Archiving, OpenText Invoice process flow ( from initiation through to coding, approval and posting as well as SAP Fiori functionality.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience in technical leadership and/or technology consulting on large enterprise projects around product implementation, configuration, development and support across multiple technical areas and channels; significant experience with design and project management of business software solutions; in-depth channel specific business and domain (functional/technical) knowledge; project software development life cycle experience; project management experience of large, complex projects; significant experience with architecture standards design and implementation (including strategy, user experience, performance, controls, stability, quality, innovation, and enterprise security requirements).
