Vista Equity Partners Management, LLC Associate, Program Manager in Austin, Texas
Vista Equity Partners is looking for an Associate Program Manager to join our Marketing Technology & Insights team, focused on marketing technology and intelligence initiatives. This role will partner across our team and stakeholder groups to boost the efficacy of our work streams and improve operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial services and/or the software industry and be a highly motivated, self-starter who appreciates a fast paced, dynamic environment.
This role is based in Austin, TX and is for an immediate start.
Create project plans and own delivery milestones and deliverables; communicate and mitigate risks
Responsible for roadmap execution, project reporting, team efficiency, and process evolution and adherence
Establish and update project and program plans with actual and forecasts and manage deviations from plan and project parameters
Work across various teams to ensure successful implementation and rollout of projects/programs to drive business results
Lead efforts to resolve project conflicts and establish appropriate resolution paths
Oversee project delivery process with key contributors to help manage scope and change
Manage staffing strategy for the teams as well as day to day project staffing assignments and prioritization against an agile methodology
Partner with teams to deliver standard quarterly reporting
Problem solver with the ability to make recommendations in a structured, professional manner to business stakeholders from varied functions and at all levels of the organization
Able to prioritize activities in complex projects/programs, and influence stakeholders, at times with limited direct authority
Thoughtful business judgement to quickly identify, assess and make recommendations to control risk
Natural negotiation skills to lead projects in a constant state of demands to develop mutually beneficial outcomes with professionalism and diplomacy
Critical thinker who appreciates challenges beyond tactical task management and digs deeper to anticipate and shape results from their project management role
Strict control over quality to include accuracy of information and polish of deliverables
Mastery of fundamental task management to get things done, on time and to specifications
Scheduling know-how with ability to breakdown goals into a timeline with clear tasks, ownership, dependencies, and milestones.
Strong organizational instincts with hones skilled to provide order, clarity and visibility at the macro and micro level
Demonstrated strategies for managing multiple complex programs simultaneously in a dynamic, matrixed organization environment
3+ years of experience owning and driving end-to-end large scale cross-functional programs in a Marketing organization.
4+ years of experience in an operations, project or program management capacity
Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or related field
