Helps our clients meet their mission needs by providing trustedadvisors, leading-edge technologies, and innovative solutions.Role/Responsibilities/QualificationsThis position will serve as a Systems Engineer providing Systems EngineeringTechnical Assistance (SETA) support as part of a GEOINT team performingSystems Engineering and Lifecycle Readiness activities for established andemerging GEOINT systems. Candidate will serve as a GEOINT Systems EngineeringCustomer Point of Contact (CPOC) for a major system acquisition.The candidate will ensure Integration and Closure activities for the GEOINTdomain are identified and accomplished. The candidate will be a member of ateam coordinating, supporting and assessing requirements, CONOPs,architecture products, system schedules, and risks, and supporting testand verification strategy and the system integration of new initiatives insupport of expanded mission capabilities.The selected candidate will have the aptitude to assess processes and createefficiencies continuously and will lead GEOINT related projects. Due to thebroad nature of the team workload, the selected candidate will ideally haveknowledge in GEOINT end-to-end activities to include sensor operation,processing, and distribution. The candidate will lead various systemreadiness events and participate in independent review teams and is requiredto have a strong system engineering background. The candidate will interactwith multiple Acquisition Offices (AOs) and facilitate risk and actionclosure with Acquisition Offices and users, and lead technicalconsultation, meeting coordination, and provide support to recommendationbriefThe Integration and Closure team is responsible for assessing theacquisition-level closure of requirements; assessing / leading systemlevel readiness events in support of enterprise, system andacquisition-level milestones; leading and supporting project planning;generating and presenting engineering briefings; and interfacing withnumerous customers. This position requires an understanding of theintelligence community and customer domain, along with a strong focus oncore systems engineering processes in support of end-to-end mission andserviceThis opportunity also offers exciting opportunities for training and exposureto Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). Prior experience with MBSE,SysML, and digital tools is preferred, but not required.QualificationsRequired Skills:Requires BA/BS with 12+ years of experience with at least 4 years ofmanagement level responsibility.Incumbent has specialized knowledge in at least one area of expertise and ageneral knowledge in 1-2 other areas.Active and Current TS/SCI with Poly United States Security Clearance.More than 8 or more years' experience with space/ground systems andsystems engineering.BS in engineering, physics or related technical degree.Strong leadership experience to include managing technical and matrixed teams.Integration and Closure experience within overall customer domain, TechInsertion experience.Strong business acumen; ability to relate professionally inside the workenvironment.Self-starter who takes initiative and thrives to learn and collaborate withothersDemonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.Detailed knowledge of GEOINT systems and overall space and groundarchitecture.Expertise in mission technical capabilities and system performance assessment.Experience with Mission Planning, Control or Processing functions in supportof space and ground architecture.Experience identifying user and enterprise needs/requirements and gapidentification, analysis and assessment.Experience in supporting Requirements Engineering, CONOPs development, andsystem integration to accommodate the End to End GEOINT Systems Engineering.Commitment to recognize, understand, respect and oper
