Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a  Distribution Center Trainer.  If you have experience training or coaching and are interested in contributing directly to the bottom line of a multi-billion-dollar organization, this is the position for you!


Conduct and facilitate training programs for Ferguson DC associates, both new hires and existing.

Audit DC associates to evaluate future training needs and enforce “Own It!” and conduct need analysis.

On occasion deliver virtual instructor-led training (VILT) such as onboarding and syllabi.

Coordinate with subject matter experts to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training by conducting training sessions.

Consult with senior leaders to design and develop corresponding lesson plans and training materials and utilize both in your training sessions.

Develop strategic planning and implementation of organizational development and training services.

Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced associates

Will be responsible for collecting and keeping track of all training completed by associates.


3 years experience with training and/or coaching

Experience working with Ferguson or similar supply chain operations a plus

Experience in operation of and training on Powered Industrial Equipment

Ability to prioritize, multitask and manage deadlines through effective organization, delegation and time management skills

Exhibits superior communication skills (oral, written and telephone skills)

Demonstrates effective listening skills through full understanding & execution

Authors, builds, develops & delivers effective training programs

Shows exceptional presentation and public speaking skills

Practices and demonstrates successful facilitation of training programs

Full understanding of Adult Learning Theory

Models professional behavior when interacting with all associates at all levels

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and our learning management system: (ELM) Enterprise Learning Management


Pay Range $18.18 - $32.31 Hourly
