Kuehne+Nagel Revenue Care Specialist – Sea Logistics in Auckland, New Zealand

We are looking for a detail-focused individual to join our Sea Logistics (Operations) Department - assisting with Sea Logistics billing, invoicing and financial operations.

Your Role

This is a 12 month fixed term opportunity for someone who has previous experience in the Freight Industry. You will have an exceptional eye for detail, enjoy working with numbers and maximizing profit!

Your Responsibilities

  • Invoicing Seafreight files and ensuring each file is accurate and revenue is maximized

  • Distributing the final invoice and other related documentation to a variety of customers

  • Liaising with shipping lines, sub-contractors and other internal departments within Kuehne+Nagel to ensure all costs are received and have been accrued without errors

  • Coordinating with our Customer Care + Operational Care teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure files are closed in a timely manner

  • To work with our Field Sales and Customer Care teams on credit limit adjustments + maintenance

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Knowledge of seafreight forwarding processes such as Incoterms, demurrage/detention processes and relevant documentation is essential

  • A passion or previous exposure to accounting or other financial processes is desirable

  • Impeccable attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

  • Ability to cope with pressure and deadlines - particularly around end of month!
