Pay:

  • $18.50 – $20.75 per hour, depending on experience

  • Additional $.75/per hour after 1 year of employment

  • Paid Weekly

Shift:

  • Part-Time - Thursday and Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

  • No Weekends

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver office supplies on an assigned route to customer accounts while meeting internal schedule and quality standards

  • Organize and load product for delivery utilizing the manifest assuring the most efficient delivery route and schedule

  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle being operated daily prior to leaving from and returning to the SDO

  • Deliver product as per customer requirements (i.e. 2nd Floor, Receiving or Reception etc.) obtaining signatures and completing all required paperwork

  • Accept returns from customer, completing appropriate paperwork and return to warehouse. Place product in return area with appropriate documentation

  • Address and resolve customer problems as appropriate. Inform supervisor of outstanding issues

  • Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and report any maintenance problems to supervisor

Qualifications

Basic: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities)

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent driving experience

  • Minimum 1-year of experience driving a Van

  • 1-3 years in a service-oriented position

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Ability to lift, push or pull items weighing 70 pounds on occasion up to 100 pounds

  • Ability to use mobile Proof of Delivery (POD) devices

  • Ability to work flexible hours

  • Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications)

  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to manage customer relationships

  • Ability to stay organized and manage time

  • Must be a team player and able to work well with minimum supervision

  • Ability to work safely within a fast-paced time sensitive environment; navigate and read a map

  • Ability to drive safely in all kinds of weather and road conditions

  • Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check

Preferred:

  • Mobile Proof of Delivery (POD) experience

  • Experience with hand truck / dolly type equipment

  • High volume / small package delivery experience
