Sodexo is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager to oversee the standards of Environmental / Custodial Services for Auburn University – one of the top universities in AL. In this role, you will conduct environmental / custodail services audits in conjunction with regulatory compliance – measure and maintain compliance consistent with APPA level 1 standards and will oversee and train 3 Quality Assurance Techs. A strong focus with environmental / custodial services processes, schedules and cleaning standards are needed.

Successful Candidate will:

  • Provide quality assurance, training, leadership, and direction to client, customers, operational management, regulatory groups.

  • Conduct monthly joint quality audits of each building and analyze data from a web-based quality system - meet established KPIs for quality, cleaning standards and floor care.

  • Develop Quality Improvement Plans based on results of audits.

  • Using Performance Inspection system, scheduled audits of EVS cleaning levels to measure/ensure compliance of consistent w/APPA level 1 Standards.

  • Oversee and monitor the internal quality assurance audit process and generate reports.

  • Coordinate, develop and implement quality improvement/corrective action plans with service lines.

  • Determine and comply with stakeholder quality control and improvement expectations.

  • Manage with operational team standard operating procedures.

  • Review project status and maintenance status schedule for nightly assignments.

  • Communicate all events and issues to designated University personnel, including attendance, injuries, damages, repairs, security, etc.

  • Coordinate training and implementation of program strategies and compliance requirements.

  • Evaluate existing processes to identify ways to eliminate inefficiencies, expense, and unnecessary work.

  • Identify and implement new ideas, technologies, or processes to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-savings.

  • Review and support the third-party quality assurance compliance, regulatory law or sanitation codes and regulations.

Position Summary

The activities of this position are directed towards supporting Commodity products and participating in the procurement process to assist in defining product quality standards, developing & monitoring specification limits, conducting product analysis to assure conformance, analyzing trends on product deficiencies and establishing vendor auditing protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 3 years

Basic Functional Experience - 3 yearsof experience in QA or R&D in a food manufacturing environment with knowledge of food processing regulations (e.g., USDA, FDA)
