The Team: Our global creative team consist of a diverse group of User Experience Designers, Interaction Designers, 2D and 3D Visual Designers, Motion Graphic Artist, Modelers and Developers. We collaborate with the interior and exterior design studios, product planning, brand teams, software teams, engineering, and outside suppliers through all stages of the product development cycle. At the core we leverage hardware, software, and strategic partnerships to support the foundational pillars that uniquely make each product meaningful and special. Our Goal: Create rich, digital experiences that build a user-centered ecosystem to enhance our brands, and strengthen the relationship with our customers.
The Job: As a UI Creative Designer, you will create the core structure, logic, and flow of an entire vehicle infotainment system. You will ensure consistency, simplicity and ease of use with logical and well thought out behaviors and actions. You will use your knowledge and passion for design trends, strategic business perspectives, and cutting edge technology to support desired user experiences.
Make complex scenarios simple and approachable, while at the same time making them interesting and compelling
Work with the cross functional team to design a variety of solutions, scenarios, and interaction models
Create frameworks that capture user requirements, corporate best practices, and feasibility inputs that can be handed to developers to be modeled and tested
Advanced critical thinking and complex problem solving
Analyze and interpret research and customer data
Expertly articulate ideas, design decisions, and design work to senior level stakeholders
We are looking for a range of experience for this position and will direct you to the appropriate professional level based on your years of experience and the complexity of your experience. Below is a list of basic requirements candidates must meet in order to qualify for the position.
Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI design, human-computer interaction (HCI), product design, graphic design or related UX/UI degree
Professional work experience or internship, as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, graphic designer, or similar UX-related role
Thorough understanding and experience with user-centered design processes and a deep expertise in interaction design methods, processes, tools, and best practices
Great communication skills and a history of teamwork and collaboration is a must
A passion and capacity to advocate on behalf of our users
Knowledge reviewing user research and data to build a strategic and user-friendly design.
Expert with tools like AI, PS, XD, Sketch, InVision, Figma, Pen and Paper
Portfolio and or online body of work must be submitted
Proficient in all UX/UI Design disciplines. (Visual Design, Information Architecture, Content Strategy, Interaction Design, Usability, User Research, Product Design)
Proven track record of delivering compelling user-centered solutions using data as a rationale for decisions
Knowledge of design systems and component design
Strong time management skills and the ability to provide design leadership-level work independently
Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills
Demonstrated history of acquiring user data (e.g., conducting usability studies, performing user research) is a big plus
