Description

  • Formulate and define systems scope and objectives for complex business systems based on industry best practices and Truist’s IT objectives.
  • Act as the liaison among the stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, communicate and validate business and system requirements using industry leading practices within the business analyst profession.
  • Ensure all requirements are fulfilled by the technical design.
  • Review the test plan, test cases and test scripts ensuring traceability to all requirements.
  • Apply industry best practices to improve Truist’s current practices.
  • Develop recommendations to improve processes or techniques.
  • Determine the overall requirements gathering strategy and plans the requirements phase of the project including the work division strategy among the project BAs.
  • Manage the progress and quality of the requirements gathering activities and adjusts the plan as necessary.
  • Plan the risk response strategy to be used in monitoring and controlling all identified risks throughout the requirements process.
  • Typically lead moderately complex projects and participates in larger, more complex initiatives.
  • Solve complex technical and operational problems.
  • Act as a resource for teammates with less experience. May have people management responsibilities for a small team. Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Analytics, Computer Science, Management Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • Must have 2 years of experience in business analyst or consulting positions performing the following:

  • Applying in-depth knowledge in information systems to identify, apply, and implement best practices.
  • Planning and managing IT projects.
  • Formulating and defining systems scope and objectives for complex business systems based on industry best practices and IT objectives.
  • Acting as a liaison among stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, communicate and validate business and system requirements using industry leading practices within the business analyst profession.
  • Ensuring all requirements are fulfilled by the technical design.
  • Reviewing test plans, test cases and test scripts ensuring traceability to all requirements.
  • Developing recommendations to improve processes or techniques.
  • Determining the overall requirements gathering strategy and plans the requirements phase of the project including the work division strategy among project Business Analysts.
  • Managing the progress and quality of requirements gathering activities and adjusting project plans as necessary.
  • Planning the risk response strategy to be used in monitoring and controlling all identified risks throughout the requirements process.
  • Utilizing experience with: Business workflow definition of ACH Payments, Wire Payments, Internal Transfers, Stop payments, Controlled Disbursements, and Fraud Control mechanisms such as Positive Payment.
