Job Title: Senior Support Engineer
Location: Atlanta, GA
Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc seeks a Senior Support Engineer at our Atlanta, GA location to define customer process model and execute discovery workshop .
Expectations and Tasks:
Design and implement application architecture. Implement, test, train applications and processes. Optimize business processes. Take care of the integration topics like user integration, system integration and process integration; Ensure data consistency, performance and exception management; Define technical architecture, landscape and underlying infrastructure; Provide a detailed architecture blueprint as basis for the other work streams (like General Basis Support); Application Lifecycle Management; Setup the project and production landscape; Setup the software logistics, provide user access and introduce security aspects; Setup the migration landscape and migration tools; Implement rules for mapping and technical, rule-based data quality measures; Define the customer target operational model; Design and implement application lifecycle management; and Integrate new business solutions or technical components. 30% travel required.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or related field of study and 6 year of experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and 4 years of experience .
- Experience must involve 4 years in the following: Technology Support Service Skill and technical analysis, including Early Watch workload analyses on SAP Systems NetWeaver; Fundamental SAP; Technology experience, including security principals; Root Cause Analysis within both the ABAP and Netweaver/Java stacks; Change Management Framework for SAP Systems E2E200 (Change Management); SAP Deployment Projects support in multinational organizations, including scoping of support plans, packages, and coordination of support activities, from the design phase through the go live and post go live support phases; Managing delivery of Support Services to Business/IT customers; Positioning support methodology and services to new engagement areas for business development; and Functional & Technical implementation and advisory experience in SAP Solution Manager . 30% travel required.
