Job Description

The Senior Sales Director is responsible for leading sales of HR Outsourcing (HRO) and Learning solutions. The ideal candidate will have established relationships within the HRO and Learning industries, be of an analytical mindset with awareness of key marketplace trends, as well as possessing a proven track record of managing quota achieving sales teams.

The successful candidate will possess strong Business Process Services (BPS/BPO) industry knowledge, proven ability to drive the selling process and experience bridging requirements across the sales and operations teams to develop winning bids.

Responsibilities, include:

  • Working in support of a Business Process Solutions organization, will develop sales strategy for the unit portfolio that contributes to strategic vision and positioning in the market.

  • Applying thought leadership and strategic thinking to identify and conceptualize prioritize and lead cross functional processes focused on improving efficiency and effectiveness of the sales organization from opportunity development, solutioning, to contract closure.

  • Establishing partner relationships and strategies.

  • Lead the sales team in developing a strategic road map that will drive revenue and improve market share.

  • Leveraging HRO and Learning solutions industry expertise to build and develop relationships, representing the organization with key customers and industry stakeholders.

  • Developing effective business relationships with the key internal business partners to understand and deliver on their needs, as well as drive their engagement with our sales strategy, tools and systems.

Experience Required:

  • 5+ years in a Sales leadership role.

  • 12+ years’ experience in sales (national or global sales).

  • Management of team comprised of 8+ direct Sales executives.

  • Proven track record of achieving double-digit YOY revenue growth.

  • Proven track record of lead generation for peer Sales teams cross selling.

  • Expertise selling Business Process Services (BPO/BPS) in the HRO and Learning solutions markets.

  • Consultative Sales success of BPaaS and SaaS solutions.

  • A successful track record of delivering exceptional revenue performance.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

  • Flexibility during times of change and open to multiple points of view and possible solutions.

  • Awareness of key marketplace and industry trends relative to customer and consumer behavior.

  • Strong knowledge of sales systems, processes and databases.

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities in a highly matrixed, global team environment.

Required Leadership Skills

  • Extensive business acumen and global experience with a sustained record of business aligned strategies and solutions that drive improved business performance.

  • Highly collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively and drive cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed environment and build successful relationships with various stakeholders.

  • Experience successfully interacting, presenting to, and influencing senior leadership.

This role may be remote/virtual within the U.S. region.
