Job DescriptionGTRI/CIPHER is seeking technical personnel to be part of an established team of experts in the assessment of battlefield electronic systems within the Assessments Branch located in Smyrna, GA. The Assessments Branch is seeking a self-motivated individual with 3+ years of work experience with optical and RF communications systems. The candidate's primary responsibilities will be to characterize optical and imaging system performance, including the measurement of laser performance parameters, measurement of thermal imaging and night vision system parameters, and analysis of optical components and electronic circuits within optical systems. In addition, the candidate will also assist with the characterization, assessment, and reverse engineering of RF systems. Such RF assessments include RF system performance measurements, development of functional block diagram, and internal circuit board analysis. Candidates should have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop creative solutions to complex measurement and characterization challenges.
