Fortna Human Resources Business Partner in Atlanta, Georgia
The Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for working with business leaders across our global organization on a full range of integrated talent needs/issues (i.e., professional development, retention, Associate relations, compensation, etc.) and collaborates and/or escalates to HR Leadership and functional HR subject matter experts as warranted. The HRBP provides thought leadership and Human Resources expertise to support Fortna’s strategic people-related goals.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Supporting leaders and managers across our global organization with coaching and guidance regarding Associate development conversations and performance issues.
Following up with managers and Associates as necessary to ensure that progress is being made on performance and career development plans.
Ensuring effective performance management, coaching, development, and succession planning tools and programs are in place, updated regularly, and deployed globally.
Initiating and managing succession management processes and ensuring plans are in place for talent pool candidates.
Providing input and collaboration into the Learning and Professional Development efforts to ensure appropriate new-hire orientation and onboarding programs and processes are in place, tracked, and measured.
Working closely with managers to develop and implement Associate performance remediation plans, as necessary, and escalating to HR leadership as warranted.
Managing Associate exit processes, including the analysis of exit data to identify patterns and develop opportunities to improve the organization.
Associate Engagement Supporting broad departmental and organizational efforts related to engagement
Providing feedback and working with the Manager, Associate Development and Engagement to support engagement efforts
Provide feedback and information to the HR recruiting team to support continuous talent needs in connection with backfill roles, resource budgeting, and other headcount additions
Supporting organization design efforts by leading and supporting communication and change efforts.
Guiding leaders to define and explicitly link our "Passion, Promise, People" internal brand to sustaining our desired corporate culture.
Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or related field
7+ years of relevant business experience
Understanding of Human Resources functional and technical areas, including learning and development, performance management, and change management
Ability to work as an HR professional collaborating with all levels of managementExperience supporting team members, managers, and company leadership in multiple geographic areas, from and in different countries, and who possess different cultural perspectives
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Ability to work with ambiguity in a demanding, fast-paced environment
Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize dutiesEnergetic professional who is able to effectively assess needs, identify potential options to meet the need, and effectively deliver the agreed-upon solution
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to work flexible hours as needed

Ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 25% of the time
Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management, consulting, and problem-solving skills
MBA or advanced HR degree
HR Certification: PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP, Coaching, e.g.
Experience working in a professional services organization
Experience working in a virtual environment
Experience in Project Management & Implementation
Supply chain or distribution industry experience
Strong leadership coaching and mentoring skills
Strong written communication skills
Exceptional level of business acumen
Demonstrated experience in issue identification and resolution skills (identifying and implementing solutions, getting others to support proposed solutions)
