The HR Business Partner Director, Global Marketing serves as the face of HR to our leaders, managers and associates across the global marketing community. This position is responsible for providing HR partnership and consulting that will help build capability and develop employees creating the right talent, right leadership and right culture to grow our business.
People advisor, consultant, and coach to the global marketing leadership team and primary HR point of contact for all center marketing associates
Facilitator of people processes and face of HR for the function: liaison to COEs, field, services, simplifier of complex HR processes, connector between the business and HR (sharing/selling ideas and processes both ways), fixer of myriad issues, partner to capabilities leader on function capability development
People/talent steward for the function globally
Co-Designer and implementer of global function people/talent strategy
Co-Facilitate Global People Development Forums for Marketing
Co-Lead org design and advise on function talent globally during restructures and org change
Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to identify staffing requirements needed to meet the goals and objectives of the organization; works with business leaders to participate in activities to promote the hiring and retention of a qualified and diverse workforce
Partner with leaders to establish proactive employee culture and communications initiatives, such as Listening Sessions, Town Hall Meetings, leadership assimilations etc.
Implement and facilitate training programs (face-to-face, or computer based training) as required
Work with managers to ensure fair and consistent application of work place policies and programs
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations; partner with Employee Relations to ensure investigation and resolution of associate complaints, issues and concerns; partner with internal/external legal counsel to respond to and defend lawsuits and complaints filed with outside agencies
Implement and execute other initiatives as directed by manager or required by company
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor's Degree, Human Resources or related field or relevant experience required; post graduate degree in related field or MBA preferred
Minimum 5-7 years exempt-level Human Resource experience required
Previous consumer goods, manufacturing or distribution experience; must have previous experience with Talent Management, Organizational development/effectiveness, employee/labor relations, and change management
