Historically, the travel requirement for this position has ranged from 80-100%. KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Hybrid Cloud Architect for our Consulting (https://advisory.kpmg.us/) practice.
Accountable for providing insight and architectural guidance to customers and engagement teams as they plan and build out new digital products in a client-facing technical role
Define target state and transitional architectures and roadmaps, including develop domain strategies for pre- and post-production domains for multiple phase implementations
Work directly with clients and collaborate with internal teams to serve as the technical architect on digital transformation initiatives, including proposing and establishing architectural frameworks
Define end-to-end systems architecture and design in accordance with business and operational requirements and design and develop specifications for Interfaces, system integration, interface, reporting and solution data models
Facilitate troubleshooting session and workshops to understand, identify and define system architecture requirements, constraints and specifications
Develop component, service and interface definitions, and help define system implementation approaches and operational procedures while maintaining a strong understanding of key technology innovations and considerations for healthcare alliance partners
Minimum eight years of recent experience with conceptualizing, architecting, designing and communicating enterprise class solutions
Bachelor's degree in math, engineering, or science from an accredited college/university or equivalent practical experience in management, technical or engineering field
Proficient experience in Open VMS, AIX, Open Port, Open Engine, FSI (Foreign System Interface) including TRE, SRE, SQL, HTML, Visual Basic, Java, SOA, FHIR and HL7 coupled with Integration experience with CCDA and API development
Experience with Healthcare Organizations, EHR implementations, State and Gov't Health Departments, Healthcare Service Providers and Software Vendors including EHR experience in Cerner, Epic, Allscripts, Eclipsys, GE centricity, Siemens Soarian, Athena and Greenway
Working knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture and APIs (REST, SOAP) and other integration patterns; strong understanding of architectural patterns, guard rails and design best practices
Ability to travel up to 80% of the time and applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for Visa sponsorship now or in the future
