At Regions, the Design Manager manages the intake, creation, development, and implementation of learning solutions to support role-based training and strategic initiatives to drive business results.
Manages, coaches, develops, motivates, and evaluates a team of Instructional Designers
Consults with Learning Architects, HR Business Partners, and Business Unit partners to assess, decision, and onboard internally developed learning projects
Leads designers in project onboarding, needs analysis, scoping, design, development, and implementation while maintaining scope, high quality, and adhering to timelines
Identifies and analyzes problems and incorporates novel ideas, innovative thinking, and formal tools to formulate solutions
Performs project management on multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and compressed timelines
Manages the portfolio of solutions ensuring routine maintenance of existing courses
Collaborates with Learning Solution Manager and team to refine internal processes, procedures, and governance
Partners with internal measurement team to assess effectiveness of instructional strategies
Manages client interactions and expectations; facilitates meetings; serves as project escalation point for IDs and business partners
Sets appropriate team goals and assists others in meeting objectives
Manages vendor relationships
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design or related area
Four (4) years of experience instructional design or equivalent experience
Project lead, supervisory, or managerial experience
Master’s Degree in Instructional Design or related field
