Whether you have many years of experience or are in the earlystages of your career, you can find a rewarding career at Grady!SUMMARYThe CT Technologist, under thedirection of theradiologist, performs total body imaging for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients within various body planes, which will result in the production of quality images for diagnostic interpretation. Effectively utilizes all imaging capabilities of the CT scanner and associated equipment and technology. Maintains the optimal level of patient care. Assists in the optimization of patient flow and study throughput.QUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma or GED is required.Prior to January 1, 2015 a certificate or diploma from an accredited Radiologic Technology program from an accredited schoolEffective January 1, 2015, an Associate's Degree and a certificate or diploma from an accredited Radiologic Technology program from an accredited schoolMinimumone (1) year of experience as a Registered Technologist, Radiation Therapist OR enrolled in an approved ARRT school with an accredited Computed Tomography (CT) program, receiving CT certificationfrom the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 1 year of hire dateis required.Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists as a Registered Technologist.
