You get excited about prospecting potential customers and can stay focused to achieve goals. You are particularly adept at identifying high value opportunities and capable of managing early sales funnel activities including qualification and discovery calls. You have experience working with enterprise organizations or are a fast learner who embraces stepping outside your comfort zone. You value friendly competition and enjoy working on projects that require deep understanding and knowledge. Finally, you enjoy building - you like to actively participate in the development of process, the articulation of Colliers' value, and the creation of key tools and assets.We take a data driven, analytical approach to our work and are looking for someone who is confident in both prospecting and helping design our strategy. This is not a typical team, and this is not a typical business development role. If you're positive, supportive, self-starting, and curious, we want to hear from you.What you bringBachelor's degree and/or 1-2 years of experience in relevant fieldStrong computer skills including Intermediate or above skills with MS Office including ExcelStrong planning and organizational skills; is highly effective at prioritizing tasks and seeing things through to completion.A track record of sales prospecting through a variety of techniques including telephone and in personThe ability to deliver excellent customer service at all levels of the organization and with external partners through clear and concise oral/written communication.Ability to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy, excellent product quality and attention to detailBonus skills and experienceCommercial Real Estate ExperienceWhat success looks likeYou are successful in prospecting for new business and following up on leads through successful tracking of business opportunities.You are able to manage the database for the team so that all client, contact and prospects information is accessible and able to be utilized.You are the face of the company when needed being able to cover reception, answer phones and provide general office support as needed.BE who you are and what you want to be with Colliers International.
