This role will assist in maximizing sales growth through cold calling, prospecting sales leads, cultivating relationships, and managing leads in the contact management database system.Primary Duties:Rigorously prospect for new business and follow up with leads in the pipeline.Support sales through outbound calling, e-mail communication, and overall management of sales pipeline through the sales cycle.Cultivate relationships with customer contacts to maximize sales opportunities.Achieve productivity, and revenue targets while responding efficiently to customer inquiries (usually in the form of sales leads).Utilize technology as a lead generation source.Follow customized scripts to deliver the team value proposition and handle objections most effectively.Accurately track and report productivity and sales metrics.Enter information into Sales Force to ensure account information is kept up to date.Perform other responsibilities as requested.Qualifications:Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience1-2 years sales experienceExceptional telephone skills-ability to set and close appointments over the phone and willingness to spend the majority of the workday on the phone.Experience in using CRM technology (Sales Force) a plusEffective written, verbal, interpersonal communication skills.Ability to time manage with multiple tasks and effectively set prioritiesEffective presentation and customer relations skillsGood analytical skills with attention to detail.Ability to follow up and follow throughGood problem solving and negotiation skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Outlook.SAP experience is a plus.Zep Inc. is an organization that is committed to diversity within its workforce and encourages all interested candidates, including women, minorities, & former military personnel to apply.
