Cornerstone onDemand Business Development Representative - Remote (United States) in Atlanta, Georgia
Business Development Representatives (BDR) at Cornerstone are the key liaison between the Sales organization and buyers. The BDR role holds an important position at the top of the funnel for the sales organization. The BDR is responsible for strategy, execution, and management of all business development activities to our prospects through a mix of outbound and inbound prospecting. The ideal BDR candidate, along with having a track record of top performance, will also have the organizational skills to handle high lead flow and should have a strong interest in advancing his/her career in Sales. In this role, the BDR will develop key competencies and skill sets that will provide the tools to be successful and set the foundation for career advancement.
In this role you will...
Generate new business opportunities through strategically researching accounts, identify key players, and generate interest
This includes target market penetration, calling on senior-level executives, VPs, following up on marketing generated leads as well as self-generated outbound leads
Establish, build and nurture relationships with senior executives through developing an understanding of their business, the challenges they face, future projects in order to address their needs with Cornerstone
Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual pipeline generating targets to ensure revenue objectives
Be a trusted member of the regional sales team, and work in close collaboration with regional sales managers and field marketing to define a joint strategy for developing business opportunities
Maintain consideration for privacy and security obligations

You’ve got what it takes if you have...
Bachelor's degree from an accredited, 4-year university or equivalent experience
Proven experience of understanding client pain points and the ability to link those pain points to proposing solutions
Strong drive to achieve results with minimal supervision
Excellent communication (phone and email), time management, presentation, organizational skills, and meeting deadlines
Ability to quickly pivot and adapt in a changing environment
Openness and ability to be coached and work in a team environment
Strong analytical abilities
Persistence and determination
Have good knowledge of the business metrics
Curiosity for innovative possibilities
