JOB SUMMARY

Working under minimal supervision, supports multiple members of the sales team with a focus on generating sales and driving business growth.

Plays an active role in the client engagement process by gathering information, generating sales activity and conducting outreach to create sales opportunities for the Network Advisory Services team with existing and prospective clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prospecting and outreach through programs working in collaboration with marketing and subject matter experts to generate new clients and expand sales.

Assists and tracks business development efforts through the use of CRM software’s including Salesforce.

Supports research on pursuits to aid management in business planning and strategy development.

Support other subject matter experts with various business pursuit projects.

Supportsdue diligence and competitive analyses for new business pursuits including research, analytics, data mining, and data collection.

Performs other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university required. Minimum of 2-5 years of related experience and/or training. Prior commercial real estate, consulting, research, client development, and/or marketing experience preferred.

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

Not required.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to prepare analytics and reports in a pre-designed style and format. Ability to effectively and efficiently respond to inquiries from clients, co-workers, supervisor, and/or management. Ability to effectively present information.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires in-depth knowledge of financial/accounting terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures. Experience with financial modeling and asset valuations. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret various types of business documents such as complex and lengthy RFP documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.

OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES

Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.)

Proficient use of Salesforce.

Advanced Excel skills preferred. Experience working with large data sets and decipher multiple types of RFP models preferred.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to coworkers and supervisor.
