Paragon Technology Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) in Arlington, Virginia
We are seeking an ISSO with the ability to identify, research, characterize, and document security weaknesses related to operating systems, software applications, firmware, network hardware components, as well as network architecture design and documented policies and procedures.
Candidate must also have the following qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to present briefings to senior level DOD officials in both prepared briefings and/or in ad hoc discussions.
Demonstrated ability to use MS Visio to work with detailed network diagrams.
Demonstrated ability to develop networks and alliances, and collaborate across boundaries with a wide range of stakeholders.
Demonstrated knowledge of network protocols, communications systems and architectures.
Recent management experience working Cyber Security/Information Assurance and IT Standards issues.
Recent executive experience developing strategic solutions to issues associated with integration of two or more networks.
Working knowledge of AFI 17-101 and the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Working knowledge of the DoD CIO enterprise cloud infrastructure strategy and sustainment of cloud services.
Working knowledge of the operational practices of the Modeling &Simulation Community to support Training & Testing.
Working knowledge with DoD Requirements Process (JCIDS)/Acquisition/PPBE.
Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Math, or Engineering)
10 years of relevant experience. May substitute degree with equivalent experience/combined education,
A current DoD 8570 IAM Level II certification (CAP, CASP CE, CISM, CISSP, GSLC) is required.
Active Secret clearance the ability to obtain TS/SCI eligibility - must be a US Citizen.
Functional knowledge of DoD and Air Force cyber policies and directives.
Use of MS Visio
Knowledge of US Government security regulations and methodologies, FISMA, FedRAMP, and NIST special publications.
Ability to meet, brief, and write reports for senior executives.
Experience with the Cross Domain Solution (CDS) authorization process.
