Perspecta’s Civilian, State and Local segment partners with the U.S. Federal Civilian State and Local governments to provide infrastructure services, business solutions, and digital transformation services that help them achieve policy objectives and integrate citizen-centric services.
The Business Analyst will support a Database Application Development & Integration team. Coordinate with database engineers working to improve automation.
Assist in applying common best practices for the industry to the customer using a knowledge base to create conceptual business models and to identify relevant issues and considerations in selecting application software packages. Assess the operational and functional baseline of an organization and its organizational components, and help to define the direction and strategy for an engagement while ensuring the organizational needs are being addressed. Typical areas addressed include Human Resources, Finance, Supply, and operations. Identify information technology inadequacies and/or deficiencies that affect the functional area’s ability to support/meet organizational goals. Support the development of functional area strategies for enhanced IT.
Business Systems Analyst will support:
Integrating applications and databases to SII CI/CD pipeline tools, and implementing RPA and COTS automation
Improving documentation (Agile backboard grooming and epic, story, sprint breakdowns)
Improving issue/problem triage and understanding end-user issues
Modernization- moving current customer DB to SOA and microservices; review and implement available cloud native services; use SOA ESB and architecture for process management,and improving database performance
Requires 2 to 5 years with BS/BA or 0 to 2 years with MS/MA/MBA or 8 to 10 years with no degree.
Position requires US Citizenship with active Secret level Security Clearance.
Salary Minimum: $49,753.60 Salary Maximum:$106,371.20 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Perspecta's total compensation package for employees.
