PURPOSE OF POSITION
Responsible for packing filters into boxes.
Inspect wrapped product for seal and appearance.
Apply labels/tabs to wrapped filters, apply labels to boxes.
Pack filters in boxes.
Reject assembled filters due to bad wrapping.
Send boxes through taping machine.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
DECISIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reject filter packaging that does not meet company specifications.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
Must be able to read and write English.
1+ year(s) work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Ability to learn the proper wrapping techniques to meet company
Ability to learn the proper use of the L-Sealer.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be able to lift up to approximately 20 pounds.
Must be able to stand at work station for extended periods of time.
Must be able to sustain repetitive motions which would include light bending
, twisting and squatting.
Must be able to use both hands when reaching for items to produce product.
Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment.
Must wear protected eye wear to protect against glue and dust.
Must be aware of surroundings – including those of a forklift driver who is removing
and delivering stacked boxes.
Must be able to withstand both hot and cold atmosphere depending on
Must be able to travel throughout the facility to obtain information needed
to perform job functions.
