St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Faculty PositionMolecular Pathologist, Clinical T in Ann Arbor, Michigan

The at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is seeking a molecular pathologist at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Member level. The position is on the Clinical track, with 80% effort devoted to clinical service and the remaining effort will be focused on translational research and career development.This recruitment is taking place at an exciting time in the development of our Division of Hematopathology and Molecular Pathology. Following on from the success of the Pediatric Cancer Genome Project, the department developed a Clinical Genomics Laboratory in which whole genome, transcriptome, and exome sequencing is performed and clinically reported. These approaches are now standard of care for nearly all patients at St. Jude. We are particularly interested in advancing our expertise in hematological malignancies, with a particular focus on developing novel molecular approaches in the evaluation of minimal residual disease.St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, founded by the late entertainer Danny Thomas, is one of the world's premier centers for the research and treatment of pediatric cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases.
