less thanp>less thanstrong>SUMMARY:less than/strong>iThe Dietary Aide is responsible for aiding all food functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established food policies and procedures.less than/p>less thanp>less thanstrong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:less than/strong>less than/p>less thanul>less thanli>Review, prepare and serve meals in accordance with planned menus with standardized recipes and special diet orders. Prepare and serve residents nutritional bedtime snacks as well as substitute foods for residents who refuse foods served. Also ensure food, etc., is prepared in accordance with sanitary regulations.less than/li>less thanli>Ensure that the department is maintained in a clean and safe manner by assuring that necessary equipment and supplies are maintained. Dietary Aide must also ensure the facilityis standards on Infection Control Precautions are being followed when performing daily tasks.less than/li>less thanli>Perform dishwashing/cleaning procedures assuring that utensils, etc., are readily available for next meal.less than/li>less thanli>Prepare and deliver snacks, etc., as instructed. Deliver food carts, trays to designated areas. Serve food and drinks in the dining room as instructed. Sweeping and mopping floors in the kitchen/dish room as instructed by supervisor.less than/li>less than/ul>less thanp>less thanstrong>QUALIFICATIONS:less than/strong>iless thanem>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
