RedHat Solutions Sales Professional (SSP) - Netherlands in Amsterdam, Netherlands
The Red Hat Dutch Sales team is looking for a Solutions Sales Professional to join us in Amsterdam, Netherlands. In this role, you will lead the shaping of the strategic solutions direction within assigned accounts. You will be instrumental in creating new business opportunities by discovering customer business challenges, defining stakeholder strategies, and shaping our offerings. You will collaborate proactively on a transparent basis with other roles in the account team. As a Solutions Sales Professional, you'll need to have excellent sales, communication, and people skills, as you'll be a crucial part of the Red Hat Sales team, interacting with both internal and external stakeholders. In the evangelist part of the role, you may be asked to speak at events and forums to everyone from chief information officers (CIOs) to user groups about Red Hat's solutions, technologies, and services. For this role we are looking for someone who has experience in the Financial Services Industry to empower the Dutch FSI team. Within this team, you will have an opportunity to create a difference at our country's largest banks and insurers.
Primary job responsibilities
Identify key customer business drivers where Red Hat can add value as an IT enabler
Use impact mapping techniques to determine the account strategy and messaging architecture
Secure opportunities by management and orchestration of your cross-functional account team
Sell Red Hat's hybrid cloud developer solutions portfolio by generating opportunities in a designated set of accounts or a territory
Contribute to selling and marketing strategies in the developer tooling and infrastructure solutions portfolio
Promote Red Hat's value proposition to prospective customers within a highly competitive market
Set high standards for articulation and presentation of key messages to C-level executives
Build relationships of trust with key customer decision makers and experts
Work with Red Hat's channel team to sell with relevant cloud and infrastructure partners
Present at events to raise awareness of Red Hat's developer and application services portfolios
Experience working in a solutions sales role as a customer adviser or business value advocate
Good communication skills to enable customer relationship development at engineering, commercial, and executive levels
Motivation to understand customer business objectives and challenges and the ability to produce a narrative that addresses these business objectives
Balance of strategic, tactical, and creative thinking skills
Understanding of and ideally experience with agile and DevOps practices
Ability to work with distributed teams across Red Hat’s Consulting, Sales, and product teams and to collaborate with other regional practice leads
Solid presentation and teaching skills
Ability to adjust to different audiences, from developer leads, to CIOs, to line of business
Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks
Business proficiency in both English and Dutch
