Pyramid Healthcare Revenue Cycle Specialist in Altoona, Pennsylvania
Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our growing team!
Provide billing support on a daily basis for routine billing functions including but not limited to:
Provide targeted Accounts receivable review and claim follow-up action on high-risk claims, which may include all aspects of claim follow-up such as calling the insurance company, reviewing payer portals, reaching out to therapist and/or clients to ensure all information is accurate, and documenting in a client’s collection history record.
Provide Administrative Support related to uniform training, policies & procedures which may include, but is not limited to:
Support phone queue when assigned
Be flexible to adapt daily tasks to support the department as a whole based on current needs as well as staffing gaps.
Other duties as deemed necessary.

Support to the cash posting department as needed and determined by the Revenue Cycle Manager
Preparing & maintaining training materials / job aide documentation related to both routine and unique workflows for management in order for consistent instruction to be provided
Drafting policies and procedures in conjunction with management initiatives
Ability to present information in clear and consistent manner
Accuracy of Mathematics
Accuracy of data entry
Ability to work with clinical staff
Ability to work with insurance companies
Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
Demonstrates good customer service and communication skills
Bachelor’s degree is not required but preferred
2 years of experience in medical billing required.
