What does a great Professional Services Technical Manager do?
You will provide application and technical assistance for the successful implementation of Fiserv’s Management Planning and Control (MPC) solution.
As a Professional Services Technical Manager, you can look forward to:
Preparing the MPC database for implementation at client site.
Leading training and troubleshooting for all MPC modules at the client site. May also cross-train on and implement other Fiserv Risk and Budgeting applications.
Performing initial data setup for new software clients and ensuring that structure and views are built per the Scope Document or Statement of Work (SOW).
Testing of MPC connectivity at client site, which may include running Oracle database scripts.
Solving technical issues and working with Client Services and Product Management when needed.
Creating formulas to support organizational and product profitability and risk-adjusted return on capital (RAROC) calculations.
Documenting and implementing improvements to the standard model.
Assisting, as needed, with sales support calls and SOWs.
Cross training on additional Risk products as required.
Basic qualifications for consideration:
High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
4 years’ budgeting experience, preferably in a banking environment
4 years’ experience working with balance sheet and income statements, preferably in a banking environment
2 years’ experience with SQL or comparable tool
Experience with MS Excel creating pivot tables, v lookups, and macros
Ability to travel up to 70%
Preferred qualifications for consideration:
4 years’ experience administering a relational or multi-dimensional database tool such as SRC, Hyperion or MPC
4 years’ banking industry experience
4 years’ experience building databases
4 years’ experience working with a report writing tool such as Crystal
Previous consulting experience
Proficient knowledge of the functionality of at least two of the following application areas: Budgeting and Planning, Asset Liability Management, General Ledger, Banking Product/Core System
