Mortgage Loan Officer AssistantJob ID2020-7450Job LocationsUS-GA-Alpharetta OverviewThis is a senior clerical level position. TheMortgage Loan Officer Assistant's primary responsibilities are to assist theMortgage Banker with the mortgage loan process; assistwith borrower and referral partner marketing; follow up with borrowers and referral partnersto insure to facilitate various steps in the mortgage loan process and to ensure top-level customer service;support theSLO through loan tracking; and, maintain communication between the team (loan officer and processor) and all interested parties using various mediums of communication.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Detailed instructions and procedures to be followed in a potentially hazardous condition - Robbery - areprovided to minimize the risk at applicable locations.ResponsibilitiesReceive all loan files fromMortgage Bankervia email or paper form.Meet regularly withMortgage Bankerto keep communication on loan files and marketing current.Maintain customer and referral partner retention software Loan Tool Box.AssistMortgage Bankerwith new applications.Input loan application data insystem for loan applications not received via Internet;Create customer folder in shared drive;Pull Credit;Send loan application documents to borrowers if requested by Mortgage Banker;Retrieve new loan applications fromInternet website and informMortgage Bankerof new loan file;Gather and store any documentation brought to office from customers and scan toMortgage Banker.Perform certain tasks based upon type of transaction:Purchase TransactionsGather all referral partner information and enter in Loan Tool Box (LTB) which is the referral partner and customer marketing retention software.Enter customer information in LTB.Make initial "Welcome" call to listing and selling agents on behalf ofMortgage Bankerintroducing team and verifying information for closing.Send initial personalized letter fromMortgage Bankerto listingand/or selling agent.Schedule loan closing with assigned closing attorney, and follow-up with attorney office to insure any and all information required is received in timely manner.Track loan status with the assistance of processor, i.e., appraisal status, title status etc. based upon key elementsMortgage Bankerwants reported to referral partners.Track loan file progress through underwriting to insure loan packages are sent to closing attorney within 72 hrs of closingFollow-up with closing attorney for HUD-1 and deliver toMortgage Bankerfor review and distribution to all interested parties.Make "Goodbye" call 24 hours prior to closing to all interested parties to review final closing date and time and any determined script theMortgage Bankerhas prepared for those involved.Update customer information in LTB to reflect new loan data.Refinance TransactionsEnter customer informationor update current information if a returning...
