Job Description

General Job Description

We are looking for driven people to prospect and generate new recurring revenue, commercial business. You will oversee finding, and setting your own appointments through cold calling, e-mail campaigns, social campaigns, leads groups, or in person sales as needed to meet with decision-makers.

  • Competitive research and documentation of challenges

  • Monitor and assess your own performance, and make improvements, or ask for help

  • Communicate with other departments and personnel to move the sales and company forward.

  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of services and pricing structure

  • Regularly meet with Sales Manager to review weekly sales activities, meetings, and status of prospective customers

  • Record activity in our Hubspot CRM software and report KPIs on a weekly basis

Prospecting

  • Prospects for new clients through various activities including cold calling, referrals, attending events, relationships and networking to establish enough opportunities to build a pipeline of potential business

  • Identify if a lead has a: budget, contract, outsourced provider, company profile that fits our model (size, location, technology), KDM

  • Identify leads, manage prospects status of Marketing Qualified, Sales Qualified, Opportunity or unqualified

  • Establish referral partners and maintain relationships with partners.

  • Create a system of touches that fits your skillset, is within Cirrus Labs methodology, and maximizes your time

  • Enter every touch into the CRM and use the reporting function to pull analytics that will help you determine the success and efficiency of your efforts

  • Ideal candidates have a “book” of business they’ve sold to in the past, and/or a large personal network to leverage to get started

Closing

  • Direct Outbound Sales and drive Monthly Reoccurring Revenue and a strong pipeline

  • Selling and Influence potential customers

  • Determine customer needs and propose appropriate service needs

  • Meet or exceed the new business sales goals.

  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals/presentations and follow up with key decision-makers

  • Qualifies opportunities by are assessing need, timing, budget, capabilities match, and implementation schedule

  • Gathers customer or product information to determine customer needs.

  • Visits prospect establishments to evaluate needs or to promote product or service sales

  • Closes sales timely in enough volume to meet monthly and annual business objectives

  • Take copious notes on all meetings to maximize the success of a customer at onboarding so all data can be transferred to the Operations team for the best possible handoff and customer experience

  • Enter every touch into the CRM and use the reporting function to pull analytics that will help you determine the success and efficiency of your efforts

Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in a business or marketing-related field and a minimum of five(5) years’ work experience in a related job field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Each BDR is responsible to maintain 150+ contacts per week of potential clients

  • Must present and communicate in a professional manner

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Must be organized with appropriate time management skills

  • Previous cold calling experience

  • Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies

  • Possess strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills

  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals

  • Must have reliable transportation
