Schneider Electric Service Project manager (765) in Almaty, Kazakhstan
Manage moderate size and complex сustomer projects, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget
Initiate and lead the hand-off from planning to implementation of projects ensuring roles and responsibilities of all parties are clearly identified and communicated to the concerned parties
Govern and contribute to customer communication from initial confirmation of project scope through to project close out
Ensure work is scheduled and proactively communicate with internal and external stakeholders any deviation from the plan
Negotiate internal and external Change Orders with all parties
Manage all quotes and negotiations with vendors and other external purchasing agents
Maintain accurate and complete documentation of customer communications and actions taken
Monitor time & expense for each related work order and escalate any deviations from budget to senior management
Lead the closeout of projects and manage claims to and from customers and suppliers for demands, consideration, compensation or payment under the terms of a legally binding contract
Act as a mentor for the projects coordinators
Prepare the weekly backlog reports to the management
Education: University Diploma/degree with electrical/Automation/IT background required.
Proven ability to manage customer project portfolio with preference for PM training
Minimum 5-10 years relevant experience working within the electrical industry.
Solid ability with communication – written and spoken.
Advanced computer skills: Windows, MS Office and MS Project is an asset.
Quick learner for new application software.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are required.
Effective communication skills, facilitation and strong negotiations skills.
Strong customer orientation and teamwork approach.
Must be detail oriented with ability to multitask.
